Lisa joined Right at Home Cheshire East in 2020. Not having previous professional experience did not matter. When starting, Lisa began by looking after more independent clients and over the years, due to her dedication and work ethic, she now looks after our most complex clients. She is loved by all her clients and colleges and is an asset to Right at Home Cheshire East. 

What Lisa says about her role. 

After working for 12 years in hospitality, I began my career in care. Over the years I considered taking a job in the care industry, however I was unsure and kept putting it off. Then in 2019 my dad passed away after a long period of illness. During this time I visited him and experienced caring for someone, which then made me realise I would be suited to this role.

Within a few weeks of working for Right at Home Cheshire East, I instantly wished I would had gotten into the care world, many years ago.

Looking forward I can see a great career in the care industry for me. Each day I feel job satisfaction and appreciated in my job .

Each day is different dealing with a variety of people and situations.
